& why is she A fashion expert?!

It all began in the '90s with a Canadian teen and a passion for fashion. From daydreaming about becoming the next Tom Ford, to dressing my friends and family, & sketching outfits on every available notebook, my love for style was clear.

I was glued to FashionTV, eagerly soaking up every episode with Jeanne Beker & spending every weekend shopping & reading fashion mags (ask me about my epic collection). Those early days fueled my ambition and set me on the path into the fashion industry.

2005

Fast forward as I head to LA to study fashion during the early days of reality television, (think Lauren Conrad "HILLS" era). While there I started assisting a stylist friend. As our collaboration flourished, the seeds of MTFG were sown, starting as a side hustle while I pursued my studies and started my career in the fashion industry.

Throughout my career, I continued to style women in addition to navigating the corporate fashion industry. Along the way in my career, I encountered incredible moments, from selling Nicky Hilton's clothing line to countless other unforgettable experiences that shaped my path.

2012

Next up was a move home to Toronto, where I noticed a severe lacking of stylish, affordable, and versatile clothing. So my sister and I set out to LA, where we sifted through thousands of amazing brands, to buy and sell at our boutique called CLOAKROOM.

A big part of the boutique was recognizing new trends and then interpreting them and styling for our customer. Learning their likes, body types, needs to set them up with great outfits. We spent 7 incredible years dressing the women of Toronto! I see so many amazing CLOAKROOM pieces' still living today in my client's closets.

After many amazing life changes including getting married and moving back to the U.S., it was time to close the boutique and move on to next!

Present

Ok wow, that's a lot of life there lol. (Feels different when you see it in writing!) Fast forward to the pandemic era where what began with virtual styling services, quickly transformed a thriving full-time styling agency. These past few years of styling women and helping them rediscover their confidence in their clothing have been nothing short of incredible.

My love for fashion and making people feel great in clothing has always been a driving force in my life. With extensive experience in the industry, I've had the pleasure of working with a diverse range of clients. From women levelling up their careers and needing to level up their wardrobes, to busy moms in need of a style revival, and everyone in between.
