5 Spring Pieces to buy for Spring 2025

The best way to keep your wardrobe up to date, is to add a few new key pieces every season. When shopping for these items, start by looking at your favorite influencers, style experts and brands to see what's on trend. Focus on quality fabrics & brands, as these items will carry you through many years.
Here's my favorite tip to set you up for success, make a list of the items that you need, and shop with intention. Sounds simple right? But we often forget and then head to shop and end up with either more than we need or the wrong items. Open your notes app and write down what you are looking for!
Here are the 5 things that I buy to refresh my clients wardrobe for Spring.
DRESSES: Spring is the time to get back into dresses! Shave your legs ladies because we're headed into event season. Weddings, parties & graduations all start in April. I love buying my clients dresses that they can wear to engagement parties, and then throw on a leather moto for date night, or even a pastel cardigan for brunch/church temple/bridal shower.

PANTS: Spring is a great time to invest in khakis, chinos, or jeans. If you've been shying away from trying a new leg shape, invest in one now! Barrel legs are incredibly versatile, comfortable and look great on many body shapes. Not ready for the Barrel but still wearing skinny jeans? Opt for a straight leg or wide leg. These bottoms will take you through many seasons and you can style them up or down.

SWEATER Sweaters are often overlooked when shopping for a spring wardrobe. We are sick of the cold weather and bundling up, but don't skip on buying a new sweater for spring! You will get incredible use out of it and instead of buying a heavy knit or darker colour as we tend to do in fall, opt for lighter knits and colours! This will bring your spring vibe, keep you cozy until summer, and look adorably put together.

BLOUSE Adding a new top or 2 to your wardrobe every season is a great way to keep your wardrobe up to date with minimal investment. Focus on items that have a feature that elevates the top, such as: Collars, Buttons, Trim, Prints and more. These will dress up any top to make it appropriate for work and great for play.

JACKET I'm a huge fan of a spring jacket. Unlike a winter coat, this jacket becomes part of your outfit. These jackets are also perfect for travel & early fall. Types of jackets I'm buying for my clients are: Bomber, Moto, Leather, Barn Jacket or Chore Jacket, Trenches and Denim Jackets. Want something more casual? opt for a shorter jacket. Need something elevated for work? Look at something closer to knee length, longer than the tushy.

When creating your list, think about how versatile will these items be for many occasions? Ask yourself, "Can I wear this to work & date night?" or "Will this be a great top for Sunday brunch and perfect for travel?" Additionally, think about different ways to style it. For example, dresses can be paired with sweaters or jackets to create a different outfit look.
